“LifeDecking”

Think Petrified Wood

Why build a deck or replace old and failing deck parts with anything other than our proprietary “LifeDecking” and deck substructures?

Answer: Built with Steelike UHPC, and the same thickness of traditional decking materials. “LifeDecking” will carry the weight and abuse of real-world use, with very low maintenance for decades to come. We incorporate the same high-tensile steel fibers used in infrastructure throughout the USA. Custom colors and textures available. Start at the top of your deck and work your way down using WaterBear “LifeDecking” and substructures to create a Deck for Life.

“LifeDecking”

Building a new deck? “LifeDecking” allows you to increase joists spacing while maintaining rigidity. Additionally, you can increase the spacing (and dimensions) and decrease the number of piers and beams needed. All of this is accomplished while increasing the strength of your deck. Imagine no longer worrying about insects, rot, mold, fire, or water damage again.

The following is a picture of two actual 5″ x 25″ x 5/8″ very thin “LifeDecking”, made from Steelike UHPC. This example was custom made to precisely replicate reclaimed lumber. Note how the texture identically matches the reclaimed lumber from which the mold was crafted. The same process can be used to replicate virtually any texture desired. Would you like Oak, Cherry, Teak, even Pine? We can do that, or we can take your idea and bring it to life–it doesn’t necessarily have to be a wood texture!

The following images are photographs, of our “LifeDecking” Planks. One of these pictures shows a composite piece of decking. Which one do you think it is?

“LifeDecking” Piers and Joist (substructures)

We offer everything you need to replace or build all the deck structure, including the beams, joist and piers. ALL components we manufacture will be made from the Steelike UHPC Composite, allowing you to span further distances with fewer piers, beams and joist. Reduce water and insect issues and dramatically reduce maintenance for decades to come.

Following is an AI Recreation of what can be replaced with our “LifeDecking” System

Everything you see in the recreation below is reflecting traditional materials used in the construction of decks. Using WaterBear composites to reduce substructure components by up to 50% or more. Moreover, you will NOT experience the pitfalls of building with wood or plastic. No more warping from the heat, splintering, cracking, water damage, carpenter bees boring holes, color fading from UV rays and all of our “LifeDecking” and meets the requirements for slip resistant.
